IAC Small Business 03’ Report
I wanted to bring to IAC membership's attention a report developed by the Small Business — Shared Interest Group. The report is in response to several senior government officials asking for "a clear voice from small business". In response to this, we embarked upon a research project that included a survey of both Small Business Executives and Acquisition Officials to develop an understanding of the top issues of small business in doing business with the federal government. The purpose being to complete 1st step of problem solving process in working towards win/win solutions for Industry and Government. Recently this research has been mentioned in the press and will soon be presented to GAO, OMB and members of Congress. As such, we wanted all IAC members to remain informed of this work and our progress.
